Steve’s background includes a 26-year career in the US Army where he specialized in Command & Control Communication networks. For the last 5 years of his Army career, he supported the military’s emerging Cyberspace operations in both Europe and Korea. Besides Cyber Third-Party Risk, Steve’s passions include Duke Basketball, Bordeaux Wines, Genealogy, and travel. Steve is married to the former Wendy Pelc who is also a retired Army officer and now serves as a veterans’ law judge supporting the US Department of Veterans’ affairs. Speaker: Ben Harbin has been in the cybersecurity field since 2006, wearing many different security “hats” along the way. Ben has lead teams in Security Operations, Data Analytics and SIEM management, Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Management, and Application Security. Bill has worked for the Georgia Department of Natural Resources Parks & Historic Sites Division since 1999. Bill has worked at the Dahlonega Gold Museum, Magnolia Springs State Park and is now the site manager at Hofwyl-Broadfield Plantation Historic Site. Bill is a graduate of the University of Georgia. Stephanie is currently the Interim GRA President, she works or the Glynn County Board of Commissioners as the Records Retention Officer for the counties Records Center. They are both avid Georgia Bulldogs & Jacksonville Jaguars fans. They both work to support & serve their 3 cats Mollie, Peeps & Smokie so they can live the lives of royalty.
